University of Queensland Athletics Club acknowledges the Traditional Owners, on who’s land we live, train and compete, the Turrbal and Yuggera people . We acknowledge and pay respects to their Elders past and present. We recognises the outstanding contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to society and to sport in Australia and celebrates the power of sport to promote reconciliation and reduce inequality.
